Abu Dhabi city is not a smaller Dubai. The Corniche and Tourist Club older towers have decades of salt on outdoor coils. Al Reem and Al Maryah are newer high-rise plates with central plant and apartment FCUs. Khalifa City, MBZ City, Al Shamkha and Al Reef are low-rise villa grids where sand sits on condensers all summer. Mussafah mixes labour camps, workshops and apartments that run AC hard and get cleaned last.
ADDC (TAQA) bills punish dirty coils the same way DEWA does, but access culture is different: more villas with family occupancy during the day, more island gate timings, and industrial booking windows in Mussafah after Asr or at night.
We treat Al Ain as its own page because the inland oasis climate and building stock are not the same as the capital islands.
