What a split clean covers
A wall-mounted split hides a wet coil, a filter, a blower wheel, and a drain pan. In the UAE that pan slimes because the indoor never fully dries. A standard clean opens the indoor, treats the coil and blower, flushes the drain until water runs, and rinses the matching outdoor so it can reject heat.
A filter rinse at home is useful every 2–4 weeks. It is not this job. Chemical deep cleaning is a different page for grease-yellow coils and caked blowers.
Indoor and outdoor have to match
Crowded roofs in JVC, Discovery Gardens and older Ajman towers have dozens of lookalike condensers. We rinse the pair that belongs to your indoor, not the neighbour’s. A photo of both ends, or a marker on the copper, saves the tracing time.
If the roof is locked, we still wash the indoor and write that the outdoor waited. We will not charge a full indoor-plus-outdoor price for a rinse that did not happen.
When to book deep cleaning instead

Blower is a felt cylinder, not dusty plastic.
Ice on the indoor in July is often a dirty coil starving airflow, not an automatic gas leak. We look at dirt first.
Aftercare
Keep cardboard off the outdoor cage. Bare, sun-baked pipe insulation is a separate wrap if you want it — it is why one bedroom ices while the hall stays merely cool. Set a sensible temperature; 16°C against west glass on a dirty coil is how ice starts.
