Chassis in a sleeve, not a split
Window units slide in a sleeve through the wall. Dirt packs the indoor face, the sleeve, and the outdoor louvres. A proper clean usually means sliding the chassis, washing both faces, and checking the sleeve is not a water tray into the room.
Seized sleeves, rotten timber surrounds, and units that have been siliconed in place change the labour. We will not wreck a window frame to force a chassis that has not moved in ten years without telling you first.
What to send on WhatsApp
A photo of the indoor grille and the outdoor louvres, plus whether the unit has been siliconed in. Older labour-camp and shop units often share a sleeve that has rusted shut — that is extra labour, not a surprise on the invoice.
