Causes
- Flat batteries / stuck keys
- IR receiver on the indoor blocked or failed
- Thermostat set to fan or scheduling off
- Wi-Fi module dropped after a router change

What you can safely check
- Replace batteries, peel the plastic tab on new remotes.
- Aim at the indoor, not the TV.
- Try the emergency button on the indoor if present.
- For wall stats, check schedule and set-point in °C not °F.
