How to reduce your DEWA bill with AC maintenance

What actually uses the kWh
The compressor. Everything that makes it run longer — dirty coils, leaking ducts, 18°C, sun on glass, doors open to a hot corridor — shows up on DEWA. ADDC and SEWA are the same physics with a different logo.
Maintenance that matters
Clean indoor and outdoor coils. Restore airflow. Seal obvious duct boots. Fix a unit that runs without cooling (low gas, dead outdoor fan). Use the electricity calculator to see hours × tons in dirhams.
Behaviour
23–25°C. Close unused rooms or stop cooling them. Do not fight the sun with an undersized split — curtains do part of the work. Maintenance will not save a villa with all windows open.
Honesty
We do not print fake ‘save 40%’ badges. A packed coil can be dramatic. A clean, already-efficient inverter on a sensible set-point will only move a little.
Warning: do not poke live terminals or recover refrigerant yourself. Isolation first, then WhatsApp.

Is inverter magic?
A clean inverter is cheaper to run than a clean on/off of the same size. A filthy inverter is still filthy.
