Split AC vs central AC cleaning
What we actually open on a wall split versus an FCU and ducts. UAE building examples.

Split
Indoor on the wall, outdoor on a ledge or roof, two copper pipes, a drain, electrics. Cleaning is chassis, coil, blower, drain, outdoor rinse. Price is per indoor unit.
Central / ducted in UAE homes
Usually a fan coil above the ceiling pushing air through ducts. You may never see an outdoor of your own if the building has chilled water. Cleaning is FCU plus ducts. Price is per FCU and/or by property size for ducts.
How to tell which you have
Grilles in the ceiling in every room and a thermostat on the wall = ducted. A white box high on the bedroom wall with a remote aimed at it = split. Many Dubai apartments have both.
Do not mix the jobs
Washing a bedroom split does nothing for a living-room FCU that is dripping on the corridor. Cassettes are a third shape: one square in the ceiling, four-way blow, often in shops.
Warning: do not poke live terminals or recover refrigerant yourself. Isolation first, then WhatsApp.

Is VRF ‘central’?
It is a piped refrigerant network with indoor cassettes or ducts. Cleaning each indoor still matters. Gas work is commercial-scope.
