Move-out AC cleaning checklist
Tenant and landlord checklist for UAE AC at move-out: photos, filters, FCU hatch, drains.
Tip: send a photo of the indoor and outdoor unit on WhatsApp before we quote extras.
Do this before the inspector
Wash every filter. Photograph every indoor with the cover open if you can do it safely. Photograph the outdoor. Run each unit 10 minutes and note if it drips or smells. Book a professional clean if the coil is furred — a last-morning wipe will not fool anyone who opens an FCU.
Ducted apartments
The hatch in the corridor is the argument. If it is screwed shut with paint, say so. Duct cleaning needs time; do not leave it for the morning of handover.
Keep the receipt
A dated job note beats ‘we cleaned it ourselves’.
Warning: do not poke live terminals or recover refrigerant yourself. Isolation first, then WhatsApp.
